About My Political Email List

Since the election in 2008, I’ve maintained a “political” email list.

Semi-monthly, sometimes less, sometimes more
Short, generally action oriented, including events and activities I find out about, and causes and issues my friends are involved in, reports of events or activities I go to that I think might be of interest. For example I sent a daily emails from the 2008 national Democratic convention I attended where Obama was inaugurated.
I try to send geographically specific emails to people in that geography
Emails are blind cc’d, so your email address is not public and no “reply all” bombardment
I try to id to whom an email is being sent to by how I address it (ie. “Dear Silicon Valley friends” vs “Dear SF and North Bay friends” vs “Dear Midwest Friends and Family”).
You can ask to be removed at any time, and needless to say, the list is for my private use. I don’t share it with anyone.
